Crescent International School

Crescent International School follows the British curriculum from preschool up to the secondary level. The school offers IGCSE for middle school and secondary level.

The school was founded in 2008 by the Crescent Educational Foundation (EEFC) through the combined efforts of several people including Former Qatar Ambassador to Thailand, H.E. Abadalla Al Hamar, H.E. Wan Mohammad Noor Matha, entrepreneurs such as Mr. Fofana Djime and Mr. Aroon Denyingyoch, and a party of educators.

Crescent hones its student’s skills and talents, by creating a joyous learning environment that will give students the reasonable freedom to exercise independent thinking. It is a reputed school in Bangkok which puts great emphasis on learning Mathematics, Science and Business. It is also one of the few schools in Thailand which offers Thai, Arabic and Islamic studies until the IGCSE level.

Language lessons are conducted in specially-themed Thai and Arabic classrooms. There are also after-school language classes to share best practices and master the language. The school is fully licensed by the Thai Ministry of Education and is a member of the International School Association of Thailand (ISAT).

The school has obtained the silver International School Quality Mark which puts them at par with other top-tier international schools across the world. The school is highly appreciated for its care and support for students and partnership with parents and community during this evaluation.

Arabic & Islamic Studies Classes Available

The school boasts of an international student population, presently numbering around 400 pupils in total. Class sizes are limited to approximately 18 children per class to provide personal attention.

CIS is committed to retaining some of the best professional teachers and administrators in the country, making every effort to ensure that every member of the faculty is highly certified and experienced. The diverse faculty currently comes from over a dozen different countries.

The school uses the Cambridge Primary Progression Tests in Mathematics, English and Science for years 3 to 6. Crescent International School puts a strong emphasis on co-curricular activities and provide sporting activities such as volleyball, swimming or basketball.

Students can even choose to be a part of the Crescent Stallions sports programme. Most importantly, students are taught to respect each other irrespective of any bias.
