Singapore International School (Hong Kong) Secondary Section (or SISHK Secondary) offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to students at the secondary level. The school provides a holistic education, helping students to develop skills, competencies and values that help them to thrive in the competitive world.

The Singapore National Curriculum is also offered at the preschool and primary schooling levels at the Singapore International School (Hong Kong) Preparatory Years and Primary Section.

Classes are conducted in a specially-designed 13-storey building at the heart of Aberdeen to facilitate the learning process of children. SISHK offers extensive facilities such as a 550-seater auditorium for performances and assemblies, a multi-functional sports hall for different sports and games which can be held concurrently, a plaza for school or house assemblies, six highly equipped science laboratories, ICT Lab with 29 computer stations installed with creative media software, dedicated music suites, dance studio and art studios, a roof-top tennis court and a school library with an extensive collection of printed, electronic and multimedia resources.

The secondary curriculum is challenging and follows the rigorous Singapore education system. It helps children proceed seamlessly into Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), and subsequently to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.

Singapore Secondary Education

The 6-years of secondary education has been designed for balanced development of children. It promotes intellectual, emotional, personal and social growth. The school has a vibrant atmosphere where children are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities, leadership opportunities, sports, and social events.

SISHK Secondary Section puts a strong emphasis on the development of language skills in students. The curriculum is designed in such a way that children not only grow up to be knowledgeable but also are able to think critically. They are principled, caring and responsible global citizens ready to take on the world.

Besides academics, the school puts emphasis on co-curricular activities. Students can participate in a variety of sports, performing arts, visual arts and music. Students grow up to be responsible individuals by the time they graduate from this school.
