The Kellett School Kowloon Bay Campus is the historically renown “The British International School in Hong Kong” and was established in 1976, has aimed to provide an exceptional education comparable to prominent independent schools in the UK, for the English speaking community in Hong Kong.
The Kellett School as a whole is a through train school with campuses in Pok Fu Lam on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon Bay. The Pok Fu Lam campus is a Preparatory School (for ages 4-11 years old) in Wah Fu at the foot of Mount Kellett and overlooking Kellett Bay, while the Kowloon Bay campus houses a Preparatory and Senior School for students from 4 -18 years old.
The school aims to the pre eminent international school option in Hong Kong that offers the internationally recognised British standards of excellence, expecting of each of it’s students to commit to achieving personal excellence, building transferable skills, cultivating well-being, and developing a global outlook.
The statement of the school is to inculcate “a love of learning and confidence for life by providing challenge, offering opportunity and entrusting responsibility”. To this day, this historic academic institution remains a wholly parent owned, not-for-profit school following the English National Curriculum for education, maintaining some of the highest quality standards and expectations in line with other respected British independent schools.
