In terms of academics, BIS HCMC Secondary Campus assures a high level of competence for students. With the adaptation of British style education, students are engaged on programmes for International General Certificate Secondary Education (IGCSE) and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) to suitably help them qualify in search of placement in the most competitive universities worldwide.

Variety of School Clubs

Students are allowed to join different clubs based on their interests including performing arts, academics or sports clubs. Scheduled educational trips are also enlisted as part of their curriculum.

Student Council is one of the school organisations where students are given the opportunity to hone their skills in representative leadership, cooperation and problem solving.

Other community services that are undertaken include Understanding Disabilities Project. This project helps students understand disabilities while gaining leadership and communication skills; Heartbeat Foundation where students raise awareness and funds for operations for children with heart defects; Operation Smile where projects are geared towards awareness and helping children with cleft palates; Children Cancer Ward Visits includes weekly visits to cancer wards to support children suffering from cancer; and Act to Change Together student club that designs and creates things for children in cancer wards. The club also raises awareness and raises funds in support of treatment.
