Tzu Chi International School

Tzu Chi International School was established in 2007 as an extension of Tzu Chi Da Ai Kindergarden. The school cultivates mindful education. The school follows Master Cheng Yen’s philosophy of nurturing and instilling humane qualities in children, under a comprehensive system of education, from pre-school all the way through to tertiary education.

Tzu Chi International School is a model school in providing a full and safe education in a loving environment, to spread the right philosophy of education and to create outstanding talented future generations motivated by good moral principles, positive vision, and noble character who can contribute to creating a stable and harmonious global community.

The school offers a comprehensive education system from preschool till tertiary level. The school offers the Cambridge International Curriculum along with Tzu Chi’s humanistic lessons. Classes are conducted in Mandarin and English. Students are also taught Bahasa Malaysia, and students are encouraged to master all three languages.

International School in Bukit Jalil

Tzu Chi International School is currently being conducted out of a large campus currently. A new building is under construction which is scheduled to be completed by 2020. Tzu Chi International School (TCISKL), situated between Bandar Kinrara 9 and Bukit Jalil on a 7.67 acres site, provides the Cambridge curriculum in tandem with the humanistic lessons of Tzu Chi- to present moral values, and to demonstrate mankind’s pure inherent nature.

In accordance with Tzu Chi’s humanistic classes, Tzu Chi International School will follow the internationally recognized Cambridge IGCSE Curriculum. While Mandarin and English classes will be conducted, Bahasa Malaysia will also be taught in order to allow students to learn and attempt to master all three languages.

The school follows three distinct approaches in three levels. In the preschool level, students are encouraged to inculcate a love for nature, develop harmonious relationships and grow up to be independent and responsible. In the primary level, students are taught fundamental life values such as honesty, self-respect, righteousness, benevolence, compassion, joy, selfless giving, life skills, moral values and humanistic values so that they develop a learning ability and grow up to be all-rounders.

International School in Klang Valley

In the secondary level, students are given a purpose and direction in life. Students are trained to develop conscientious and intuitive abilities and gain the right knowledge and the right view to progress in life. TCISKL is open to students of all races, faiths and different backgrounds aged between 4 and 19 years, both local and foreign.

The first intake is scheduled for January 2020, beginning with enrolments for students in kindergarten, primary (Year 1 to Year 4) and secondary (Year 7 and Year 8). Intake for the other year group shall begin in the years that follow.

From a group originally comprising of just 6 followers and 30 housewives, Tzu Chi has today developed into a multinational NGO with more than 10 million supporters in 54 countries across the different continents. Tzu Chi’s missions, as a charitable, moral as well as welfare group, focus on giving material aids and promoting compassion and empathy in both donors and recipients.

The Tzu Chi Foundation has been active since its establishment in the fields of health, science, education, environmental protection, as well as the promotion of humanistic values and voluntary society.
