Asia Metropolitan International School adheres to a curriculum that is based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales, and offers the Cambridge International Examinations culminating with the IGCSEs in Year 11.

The school has produced outstanding results in the IGCSEs, with a monumental 71% scoring a ‘C’ and above in the 2019 examinations. Out of that number, another 41% scored the highest grades of ‘A* and A’. On the back of such good results, the school has also begun offering the A-Levels as a continuation to further studies.

Cambridge International Education in Perak

The school puts a great emphasis on the English Language and at least one other foreign language. This gives students the added advantage of mastering two languages and prepares them to keep up with a global spectrum of competition.

The school seeks to provide students the advantage of coping with information, communication and digital technology. Asia Metropolitan International School (AMETIS) takes pride in being the only school in Perak that incorporates technology into the day to day teaching methodology- which in itself, blends well with the rest of the state of the art facilities that are housed within these grounds.

The state of the art facilities of the campus supports this endeavour which helps the school deliver a one of its kind education experience. The school follows the Cambridge International Programme and the National Curriculum of England and Wales.

The faculty team consists of both expatriates and Malaysian teachers who are dedicated in taking care of their students. The vast experience that was forged in other reputable international schools, enables the teachers to provide their best and most applicable techniques, which in turn then inspires the best learning outcomes for students.

Classes are conducted in a newly renovated facility. The school is equipped with internet access, dedicated computer lab, art room, music room, library and individual computers in classrooms. As befits an international school of this level, the library is well endowed with a wide range of books and study/reference material, which should be of use to to the diverse, multicultural student body.
